In connection with the launch of version 24 of the Human Protein Atlas at the HUPO World congress in Dresden, the program director professor Mathias Uhlén was interviewed for an article in Technology Networks.

In this interview the features of the latest release of the Human Protein Atlas as well as the background and progress of this 20+ year project are discussed. Professor Uhlén also shares some of his views around the development and future of proteomics especially in the context of next-generation blood profiling and protein biomarkers for improved diagnostic approaches.
