PROTEIN EVIDENCEiOn the Protein evidence page each chromosome is represented by a bar, with the length corresponding to the number of genes, showing evidence scores based on three different sources, in addition to an aggregated Evidence summary score in four separate tabs. The MS evidence displays protein evidence based on two different publications, Kim et al 2014 and Ezkurdia et al 2014, the UniProt evidence displays protein and transcript evidence according to the UniProt protein existence annotations, and the HPA evidence displays antibody- or RNA based scores according to data from the Human Protein Atlas. The Evidence summary displays the highest level of scores for each gene based on all three sources. Further information about the scoring of the different types of protein evidence can be found in the more detailed description of the protein evidence. For each of the four tabs, every chromosome is clickable and results in a chromosome specific page where the genes are shown on the chromosome in a positional order and colored by evidence score.
