In a webinar hosted by Akoya Biosciences Dr Cecilia Lindskog will introduce the audience to the current multiomics workflow of the Human Protein Atlas and the recent efforts to introduce machine learning with the aim to create a detailed spatio-temporal map of the human proteome at the single cell type level.

Recent advancement within the field of omics has lead to the possibility to form a more comprehensive understanding of human health, which holds great promise for the future of precision medicine. During this webinar, Dr. Cecilia Lindskog, Research Group Leader and Associate Professor from Uppsala University and head of the HPA Tissue profiling, will describe and give examples on how the combination of scRNA-seq, spatial proteomics using a multiplex immunofluorescence pipeline, and machine learning algorithms can be used to identify subpopulations of cells related to normal and disease state pathways.

By joining the webinar you will get to learn more about:

- The progress made towards a complete spatial map of the human proteome

- How quantitative data can be linked with tissue morphology to create a spatio-temporal single-cell type map

- Examples of novel cell state-specific expression patterns validated with spatial biology techniques

- How spatial biology has provided valuable insights into molecular function and mechanisms of disease pathways
