On April 12th the Life Science Sweden annual and international partnering event Lab & Diagnostics of The Future will take place at Life City in Stockholm. With the ambition to achieve quicker implementation of new and improved diagnostics the event aims to promote dialogue between decision makers in healthcare, county councils, research, labtech and diagnostics, as well as the pharmaceutical industry.

The programme includes speakers from both academia and pharmaceutical companies including Professor Mathias Uhlén (KTH, Stockholm), who will describe a novel strategy based on plasma profiling and machine learning where proteome signatures for 12 common cancer types can be measured in minute amounts of blood plasma and allow for the determination of a set of proteins suitable for the identification of all individual cancer types. Other topics of the event span from developments in IVF over antibody development for therapeutics and genotyping for reduction of drug side effects to sports medicine. By attending this event you will also have the opportunity to request one-on-one on-site meetings with other attendees for further discussions.
