Search help

The Fields button to the right of the Search area can be used to perform more specific and/or complex searches. When clicking the Fields button, three fields will appear under the original Search area.
The leftmost field contains the logical operators AND and NOT. The middle part contains the Field field where you can restrict your search to for example only include proteins located on a certain chromosome, having a specific subcellular location, or having antibodies validated in a particular assay. Depending on your choice of Field term, one or more fields may appear to the right, allowing you to specify for example which subclass of a protein class you are interested in.
After clicking Add you can either click Search to view the results of your query or click Fields to add more search terms to your query.

Below are some examples of different types of searches that can be performed.
